Background questions
The program application states that criminal history does not preclude participation. Employers set their own hiring and background-check requirements.
What the 3 weeks look like
Classes run Monday through Thursday, 5:00–8:30 PM, so the program fits around a job or other daytime commitments. After the program, students receive up to a year of case-management support as they pursue dispatch positions with SF and Oakland public-safety agencies.
