WHO WE ARE?
City EMT is a San Francisco based non-profit organization (established in 2018) designed to address the issues of poverty, violence, and unemployment by training at-risk young adults, aged 18-24 years old, in an expanded EMT curriculum (four month) program. We couple the curriculum with comprehensive wrap-around services that have been found to increase the success rate of the participants.
The wrap around services are one of the key components of our program. Through our partnerships with other vital community organizations, we offer case management, life coaching, mental health services, address housing stability, assist with food health and nutrition, and establish employment viability through criminal background reviews.
PLESE READ BEFORE STARTING APPLICATION: The selection process is highly competitive, and all applicants will not be selected for the panel interview phase. It is our suggestion to first read through the application and complete a draft of your answers for the essay questions (all should be in paragraph format) as well as gathering all documents that are required to be downloaded. Please email us with any questions or concerns.
Next COHORT is tentatively scheduled for August 2023 - December 2023
(Application period opens Friday, May 5, 2023 and will close Friday June 23rd at 5:00pm)
